Clean label is a concept that highlights the use of natural ingredients. All our Maltivor products are clean label since they are made of natural ingredients, and there are no additives or preservatives added.

We work with local breweries that offer organic beers in order to have a spent grain flour that is also certified Organic Agriculture. Organic agriculture is beneficial for health and the environment, which is why Maltivor is committed to offering AB certified products!

8. Made in France manufacturing

All our products are Made in France since we harvest the spent grain in local breweries and we produce our flours in our production site in France, more precisely in Vourles, in the Lyon region. Our macaronis are also made in France at a partner pastier located in Bretagne. For more information, do not hesitate to consult our article on Made in France right here.

Gluten is a protein that is naturally found in different cereals. For a food to be gluten-free, the gluten level must be less than 20mg/kg. Our spent grain flour contains a low gluten content since the level is less than 40mg/kg. By mixing spent grain flour with other gluten-free flours, it is possible to have gluten-free recipes .

10. An innovative raw material

Spent grain flour is an innovative product since it revalues a co-product of beer brewing. It is still a relatively unknown flour but full of promise! Historically, spent grain was mainly used for animal feed or for spreading fields.
