Marble cake
Ingredients
- 180 g of wheat flour
- 40 g of blond spent grain flour
- 40 g of brown spent grain flour
- 280 g of sugar
- 160 g of butter
- 2 eggs
- 100 g of liquid cream
- 200 g of milk
- 6 g of baking powder
- 20g of cocoa
- 1 vanilla pod
- A pinch of salt
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 150°C.
- Mix the softened butter with the sugar and salt.
- Add the wheat flour, the baking powder then the eggs and the cream and the milk.
- Mix until a homogeneous paste is obtained.
- Separate the mixture into 2 equal parts.
- In one add the vanilla and the blond spent grain flour.
- In the other add the cocoa and the brown spent grain flour.
- Line a mould.
- Alternately add the vanilla and chocolate mixtures to create marbling.
- Bake for approximately 1h10 at 150°C - check the cooking with the tip of a knife.
- Let cool before serving.
