Speculoos

Ingredients for about twenty speculoos

  • 155 g of butter
  • 150 g of wheat flour
  • 65 g of amber spent grain flour
  • 1 egg
  • 155 g of cane sugar
  • 3 g of baking powder
  • 3 g of speculoos spices (mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg, anise, ginger and cloves)

Preparation

  • Start by mixing the butter and the two flours with your fingers.
  • Add the sugar, the baking powder and the spices then the egg and mix to obtain a homogeneous paste.
  • Roll out the dough, keeping it about half a centimeter thick. Using a cookie cutter, cut out your cookies.
  • Arrange them on a baking sheet and bake at 170°C for 13 minutes.
  • Leave to cool on a wire rack before serving.
