Mac & Cheese

Ingredients

  • A packet of spent grain flour macaroni
  • For the bechamel
    • 40 g of butter
    • 40 g of flour
    • 500 g of milk
    • A pinch of nutmeg
  • 300 g cheddar cheese
  • 150 g emmental cheese
  • Salt pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Cook the pasta for 3min30 (less than on the packaging).
  • Prepare the bechamel:
    • In a saucepan, melt butter.
    • Add the flour.
    • Off the heat, add the milk little by little while whisking.
    • Return to heat and allow to thicken while stirring.
    • Salt, pepper and add the nutmeg.
  • Grate the cheeses.
  • Add half to the béchamel, mix then add the pasta.
  • Pour into a baking dish.
  • Put the rest of the grated cheese on top.
  • Bake for 15-20 mins at 180°C.
