Maltivor wins a Sirha Europain Award 2024!

Reading time: 5 minutes

Maltivor (Wonderwomalt company) has developed a new raw material by reusing spent grain (co-product from beer production): brewer's spent grain flour . It is a material rich in proteins, fibers, minerals and flavors that the company markets to agri-food players. Maltivor has just won a Sirha Europain Awards 2024 in the Products and Ingredients for bakery and pastry category.

Spent grain wins award

Among 40 applications, Maltivor stood out to the Sirha Europain Awards jury with its 210 µm blond brewer's spent grain flour. This is an innovation that meets the demand for a finer material that retains its organoleptic, nutritional and technical properties. This ingredient is used in bread-making, pastries and snacking for its organoleptic, nutritional, ecological and economic benefits!

This new variant allows our team to adapt to the demands of our customers in the agri-food sector on applications that require ingredients with fine granulometry, for example for pastry creams, for chocolates or more classic breads.

An expanded product range

Our flours are available in standard range, in 450 µm, but also in 210 µm. For all other companies who want results with a more rustic appearance, we offer our ingredients in 750 µm.

The 210 µm particle size is available in the conventional range and in the certified organic range, just like our other ingredients.

Maltivor will exhibit at Europain!
