A bivouac is a camp that allows one or more people to spend the night in a wild environment such as the forest, the mountain, the desert. This camp is basic, temporary and light or imposed when the weather conditions are not good. Bivouac is more commonly called "night under the stars".
- The Crète de la Charande is a circuit that separates the Autrans valley and the Lans en Vercors valley. The Autrans valley is located in the Vercors department. It is a hike that lasts on average 4h25 with a distance of 9.39km.
- The Grand Veymont is the highest point of the Vercors massif, it offers a view of the Gresse valley and the Vercors plateau. It is located in the commune of Saint-Agnan-en-Vercors. The hike lasts on average 8h30, with a distance of 20.21km.
- The Puy de Peyre Arse is located in Cantal, department of Auvergne, in the commune of Le Flagoux. It is a summit of the volcanic massif of Cantal, located in the Massif Central. This hike lasts on average 3h55 with a distance of 8.66km.
- The Col de la Vanoise is located in Pralognan-la-Vanoise, in the Savoie department. It is located in the heart of the Vanoise massif, it is a good introduction to discover the first National Park created in France and it goes around the Aiguille de la Vanoise. The hike lasts on average 5h50 with a distance of 11.81km.
- Mont Buet is located in the commune of Vallorcine, in the department of Haute-Savoie. From this Mont Buel, you can see the Aiguilles Rouges and the Mont Blanc Massif. The hike is to be done over two days since it lasts on average 10h35 for a distance of 18.76km.
